Mariko has 3 primary activity modes that are useful to understand.
An activity usually starts as "Active". Then you can mark it as Done or Skipped.
In case you miss an activity, you can see it as Missed or Due, depending on where you are looking and the settings for that particular activity.
This guide goes through five activity modes that an activity can have.
We show activities in the Daily Schedule, but the same applies to Master list, Private or Project.
🎯 1. Active
📍What it means:
The activity is scheduled, but not yet marked as done or skipped.
📸 Example:

🔎 This is how you see it:
Empty circle
Dark, clear text
No strikethrough or dimming
✅ 2. Done
📍What it means:
You have marked the activity as completed.
Of course, you can mark an activity as Done whenever you want, in case you finish before the time runs out!
Click again to reset the activity to Active.
📸 Example:

🔎 Here's how you see it:
Checkmark icon
Text is crossed out
Slightly dimmed.
🚫 3. Skip
📍What it means:
You chose not to do the activity (pressed "Skip").
This can be very useful if you want to go back in time and see what activities you actually did or not!
Try using the feature and explore what you can learn from it.
📸 Example:

🔎 Here's how you see it:
The title adds the word "skipped" at the end.
No check mark (unlike Done)
Skipped is highlighted as purple.
Slightly dimmed.
⏰ 4. Due
📍What it means:
You have not marked the activity as Done or Skipped before the end time is reached.
Mariko automatically marks it as due.
You can set an activity not to be marked as late, through the Scheduling tab when editing an activity.
In the account settings, you can choose to change the default, in case you usually don't want to see activities as overdue.
📸 Example:

🔎 How to see it:
Red calendar icon
Text shows when it should have been done
Other muted
⏳ 5. Missed
📍What it means:
The activity has passed without you marking it as done or skipped.
Appears only in the past.
📸 Example:

🔎 This is how you see it:
Looks like Active, but only exists in the past
Slightly dimmed.
