Search and filter activities in Mariko
Finding and organizing your activities in Mariko is easy! 🔍

The search and filter feature helps you quickly find and organize activities in the Daily Schedule, Master List and Inbox. You can use the search bar to find specific activities and combine different filters for a more detailed view.


To search for an activity

  1. Tap the search bar at the top of the screen.

    This can be used on all pages in Mariko (e.g. in the Daily schedule, Master list and Inbox)

  1. Start typing the name of the activity you are looking for.

    (text in the Activity Title and Description is searchable)

  1. Results are updated as you type and show matching activities.

  1. Tap on an activity to open and edit it.


💡 Tip:

If you often search for the same activities, you can save a view by tapping:

“Save as SmartView”


How to filter activities

You can filter activities based on different criteria.

1. filter by date

  • Tap on “Date” to open the calendar.

  • Select a preset option:

    • Today - Shows activities scheduled for today.

    • Tomorrow - Shows activities for tomorrow.

    • This weekend - Shows activities for the weekend.

    • Next week - Shows activities for the coming week.

  • Select your own dates by:

    1. Pressing “Date” to select the start/end date.

    1. Selecting a specific date in the calendar.

    1. (Optional) Set an end date by tapping “End Date” and selecting the date in the calendar.

    1. Press “Done” to apply the filter.


2. Filter by priority

  1. Tap on “Priority”.

    Select a priority (e.g. Priority 3).

  1. Press “Done” to apply the filter.


3. Filter by area

  1. Tap on “Area”.

    Select the area you want to filter by.

  1. Tap on “Done”.


4. Filter by category

  1. Tap on “Categories”.

    Select one or more categories (e.g. “Phone”, “Work”).

  1. Tap on “Done”.


5. Filter by energy level

  • Tap “Energy” to see all activities that use energy accounting.


6. Show only completed activities

  • Tap “View completed” to see previously completed activities.


Combine search and filter

🔹 You can use both text search and filters simultaneously for more precise results.

🔹 Example: Search for “work” + filter by “Priority 2” to see important work-related tasks.


Frequently asked questions

Question: How do I remove a filter?

Answer: Press the X next to the filter to clear it.

Question: Can I save my filters?

Answer: Yes! Press “Save as SmartView” to save a customized view.

Question: Why don’t I see a result, it should be there?

Answer: If you have just edited content, it can sometimes take a few seconds before you see the change in the search results.
